I just came across an interesting topic di blog auntie nani. I am an avid reader of her blog..serious best! She started of by writing episodes of her life..dari muda sampai sekarang. Dari start dia bercinta, bertunang, kahwin, sampai la skarang dah bercucu. Yang best nye, setiap entry disertakan gambar-gambar. Setiap gambar-gambar lama, auntie akan scan and upload. Tabik spring lah sama auntie!!! Kita yang pakai smartphone lah, digital camera lah, pun masih malas nak upload gambar. Eh, bukan 'kita', hanya saya je yang malas..jangan saman saya ok.
Kadang-kadang auntie akan selitkan resepi-resipi, some parenting tips, petua and nasihat-nasihat. Memang cool lah auntie ni. Tapi sekarang auntie selalu sakit-sakit.. :-( Semoga auntie pulih dan kembali sihat dan kuat.

Back to the article, it is about wearing rings. Have you ever wondered which finger(s) you should wear a ring? I mean for a Muslim la..yang non-muslim tak kisah kot nak pakai memana jari kan? Well I did. Disebabkan jari tengah saya bengkok (akibat selalu cedera kena bola masa zaman sekolah dulu) makanya saya sentiasa pakai jari manis. What about you guys out there? Korang pakai jari mana? Maybe some of you memang dah tau lamaaaa dah, hanya saya je yang ketinggalan..maafkanlah saya, saya memang cenggini..anyhow, I still want to share it here.

Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam melarang kerana memakai cincin pada jari telunjuk dan jari tengah adalah meniru cara berhias kaum yang dilaknat oleh Allah iaitu kaum yang derhaka di zaman Nabi Luth a.s.

Perhatian : Cara memakai cincin adalah termasuk lelaki ataupun perempuan. Muslimin dan Muslimat, sila nasihatkan kawan-kawan dan juga saudara-mara ataupun anak-anak tentang kaedah yang betul untuk berhias di dalam syariat Islam, kalau tidak sia-sia saja kita mendapat laknat dari Allah SWT. Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam memakai cincin dan kalau kita memakai cincin dengan niat mengikut sunnah Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam dapatlah kita pahala.

Tribute to Mel

Have you ever talked to your car?

Am not sure if there is someone out there who does this..but I do..and my sister.. we always 'talk' to our car.. Every morning at the office, after I lock her (yes, my car is a girl) I will say 'Thank you Vee for bringing me safely here. Sit tite. Love ya..’ And after work, when I reached home safely, again I would thank her and say 'Be safe..Love ya..' Czyrell, if you read this, I love you too ok?

My sister lagi la..bila dia drive, and tak nampak bump or potholes, and terlanggar dengan sgt kuat, she will quickly tell me, ‘kak, adik terlanggar bump tadi..kuuuuaaaaat sgt..kesian Mel..dia terkejut. Tp dah say sorry dah dkt dia’...gila tak? nahh..I don't think so.

Kereta-kereta ni pandai merajuk tau..well at least Vee ni mmg pandai merajuk. Once I kinda ‘scolded’ her. Bukan marah dekat dia pun. Marah dekat org lain, tapi dia yang kena tempias. Haaa kauuuu… One week my alarm buat hal. Bila dah lock, nak unlock pulak tak boleh.. kena buka manually…dah satu hal pulak nak immobilize the alarm. Ada la jugak 5-6 saat baru blh bg dia senyap. Merasa la dpt attention di car park setiap kali nak unlock dia. Hahaha..padan muka saya! Lepas dah minta maaf, sayang-sayang dia, baru la dia ok balik.. Yang tak faham nye, the remote alarm baru je gi tukar. Bukan setakat tukar battery, abih sume cip pun tukar baru. Lepas tukar tu mmg takde masalah. Tapi lepas dia kena marah, baru dia jadi hal. I don’t know why or how to explain, but it happens. Dulu dgn motor (when I was in Uni). Merajuk, terus hilang!! Tapi jumpa blk after one year kot..ntah..tak ingat. Tapi polis jumpa dekat Rawang (I was in Seri Kembangan back then).

As for my sister, Mel was with her for 4 years. Now Mel is not with her anymore… L

Last Saturday, my sister received her new car. So I accompanied her (together with my parents) to Sg. Buloh to handover Mel, and take the new car. I tell you, memang drama habis la kat tpt tu. Menangis!!! err..bapa tak la..kami tiga je yg nangis.. Masa dok transfer barang-barang tu, air mata dah dok bergenang –genang dah..semua org diam je buat kerja..tapi, masa last org tu drove Mel away, adoiii…sayu sunggoh.. air mata mcm fountain! Tercengang-cengag jugak la org sekeliling..haissshh..skarang baru rasa malu..hahaha..

 Vincentt (si penjual kereta itu) mmg terkejut gila tgk kitaorg. Dia ckp, ‘Weeiiii…you guys love that car so much huh?” mesti la! lagi mau tanya…kecik-kecik dia tu pun, she’s ours tau..Hoh!

Hmmm..Even though Mel wasn’t mine, but I felt some kind of ‘attachment’ sebab I was the one who took her from the showroom in Gombak, bawak gi kat my sister’s kolej. Rasa mcm baru je amik Mel. Padahal dah 4 tahun dah.. Walaupun kereta tu kecik aje, tp sayanggg sgt kat dia. She was a very good car. Tak penah bg masalah. Just like Vee.  Mama ckp, ‘esok-esok ni adik dah byk duit, adik cari dia blk ok’

Adik la kesian. Mmg jelas sgt nampak dia kecamuk. Tak boleh nak happy sbb tgh sedih sbb terpaksa tinggalkan Mel. Masa mula-mula Vincentt dok terangkan about the new car, she was still crying. I couldn’t imagine what I would do if I am in that situation… Don’t worry Vee, kakak would never sell you ok..Insya’Allah we will always be together.

To Mel,

Kakak & Abang hope you are doing great wherever you are. Insya’Allah you will get a new owner soon. And we reallllly hope he/she will take good care of you and sayang you like we did (and we still do). Be safe darling… May we meet again someday…

What took me so long...

Lama tak update blog ni..why? haaa..meh sini nak terangkan...yg pertama skali sibuk..memang sibuk with work as well as baking, but it was not the main reason..so, what really deters me from updating GB??? masalah kendiri..

few times i opened this page, type seperenggan dua, then tenung la skrin ni sampai tembus pun, tak jugak ilham ni datang..my friend, Bazli, suggested to share stories/facts/history/myths about ingredients, cake, biscuits, etc.. I tried that, tp jenuh la pulak buat research nye..dah mcm nak buat thesis dah ni..kena google sana sini, buat references, credits...adoiii la...mau mkn masa 3 bulan nak buat one short so-called article about sebijik butter je..and the info, i tell you...gilaaaaa banyaaakkk...org ni ckp mcm ni, org tu ckp mcm tu..sudah nye, aku juge yg konfius..maka nya, tinggal la kamu dlm draft sampai God knows when..

takpe la, kalau ada kesempatan, I'll finish the article and post it up here..for the time being, i don't know what the hell to write..am not the type of person yg pandai mengarang..dulu2 masa belajar pun, subject BM la yg aku kantoi paling teruk..bercakap pun lebih kurang la...i think i have issues explaining things to people..which makes people lagi tak paham dgn apa yg aku cuba sampaikan..nak2 bab giving directions..so i think the problem lies in me..dah le mengarang pun sucks, menerangkan pun sucks...haih...

one more thing, this blog is about "Glory Bites"..technically i should write about 'her' [yeah, GB is a girl ;-]..eventhough "Glory Bites" and me are the same "person" but we are different entity..see..penyakit dah datang dahhhh..korang paham tak apa yg cuba nak disampaikan ni? kiranya takkan nak cerita pasal diri sendiri plak kan dlm GB?

In chicsinred, dia ni mmg otai dlm blogging..blog dia pun best..she is also really into baking..and she attached her online bisnes called Keiki Kookies inside her blog..so its a 2 separate pages..hal bisnes in different page, hal blog in the other page..mmg teratur and senang nak manage dua2..layout cantik, blog pun selalu update...idok le mcm blog GB ni, 3 bulan sekali baru update..hoh! sunggohla dilemma..nak mcm tu, tp tak reti buat..ekinnn..please help... :-(

anyway, its ok..take things one at a time..akn diusahakan utk manage hal2 ni nanti..dont worry..

last weekend ada pot luck kat my apartment..anjuran persatuan penduduk..walaupun aku ni bukan la jenis yg suka sgt bercampur dgn org, tp sesudah disound berdas-das oleh ma'am besar rumah.."hidup ni kena la bermasyarakat..nnti kalau kita perlu bantuan, at least ada org nak tolong kita..bla..bla..bla.." makanya kami anak beranak pun join la pot luck tu..i baked about 30 pcs of blueberry cheese as our contribution..sambil-sambil tu, blh juge promosi GB..2-in-1 la ni..tgk2, terus dapat order.. :-) Alhamdulillah..

GB has yet to come up with new products..sbb nye, Tartlets and Rich Choc Cake orders is really a hit since we published online (blog and FB)...i don't have the luxury to try out different things for now but i promise, i will do so soon..promise!!!
